How It Works
Collection or Home Delivery if you are located within 25 miles of Ivybridge:
Check Your Pet meets the requirements
Your Pet must be microchipped and have a valid, in-date Rabies Vaccination
Send your information
Email the completed application form along with the correctly certified documents containing the specific information required to issue an AHC.
We prepare your documents
Once all documents have been received, your AHC application is placed, your certificate will be prepared and ready for the agreed collection date.
Collect your certificate
You must collect your AHC with your pet because we must scan and verify your pet’s microchip and we must witness you signing the declaration

If you are travelling to an EU country or Northern Ireland with your dog, cat or ferret you’ll need to get an animal health certificate (AHC). You must

If you’re travelling to a non-EU country, you’ll need to get an export health certificate (EHC). You’ll also need to complete an export application form (EXA) if you’re in England, Scotland or Wales. Check the rules of the country you’re travelling to for any additional restrictions or requirements before you travel.

A Fit to Fly Certificate is a document issued by a qualified veterinarian that confirms your pet is in good health and can safely travel by plane. This certificate is often required by airlines and travel authorities, to ensure the well-being of your pet during the flight. Though not all airlines require this, so please double check with your airline

Bogdan Draniceru came to the UK in 2016 from Romania and has since been practicing as a farm vet in South Devon. Bogdan is qualified as an ‘official veterinarian’ or ‘OV’ meaning he is certified to issue Animal Health Certificates (AHC) to pets needing travel. After working in practice, he realized that the wait for an AHC can be long, so decided to create a service to offer the issuing of the AHC from the comfort of a client’s own home at a time that suits them. Bogdan can also offer advice about pet travel and answer any questions without the stress of having to come into practice.

What does your pet need when travelling from UK to an EU country or Northern Ireland
your pet needs:
- a microchip
- a valid rabies vaccination
- an animal health certificate, or a valid pet passport that’s accepted in the country you’re travelling to
- tapeworm treatment for dogs if you’re travelling directly to Finland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Norway or Malta
How quickly must I travel after receiving my certificate?
